Wasim Akram born in Lahore, Punjab is a former Pakistani cricketer. He was a left-arm fast bowler and left-handed batsman, who represented the Pakistani cricket team in Tests and One Day Internationals. Widely regarded as one of the finest fast bowlers ever, Akram holds world records for the most wickets taken in both ODIs (502) and List A cricket (881), and was one of the pioneers of reverse swing bowling. The revolutionary nature of reverse swing initially resulted in accusations of ball tampering, although reverse swing has now been accepted as a legitimate feature of the game. Akram's later career was also tarnished with accusations of match fixing, although these remain unproven.

 Wasim retired in 2003, after a brief spell with Hampshire in England. Since then, Wasim has taken up commentary and can currently be seen as a sportscaster for the ESPN Star network, and is also running shows on ARY Digital. He is married to Huma Mufti, daughter of Mr. Humayaun Mufti. Wasim and Huma have two sons from their marriage of fourteen years. Wasim has also appeared in Fuzon video as a model.

The 22-year-old Smith is struggling to make an impact as either a bowler or batsman in the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

He has bowled just five overs in total in the three matches so far, taking no wickets and conceding 33 runs.

And as Australia's No.7 batsman, he had to wait until Tuesday's third match - to get an innings.

He made 18 before being run out when he failed to react quickly enough to a sharp return throw by Nuwan Kulasekara off the Sri Lankan's own bowling.

The NSW youngster's head dropped in despair at his dismissal and skipper admits Smith must improve.

"With Smitty, he hasn't had too much opportunity with the ball, didn't bowl last game and only bowled a couple of overs this game," Clarke said.

"And when you're batting at seven, it's always pretty difficult because generally when you get the opportunity to bat, your team's under pressure and you've got to score quite quickly.

"It's a tough one, he's a wonderful talent but he has to keep working on his game, especially batting.

"I'm sure he doesn't want to bat seven his whole career and he wants to be a frontline spinner, so he's got to continue working hard on his game."

Another player battling poor form is veteran wicketkeeper Brad Haddin.

The 33-year-old has played in both Twenty20s and the three one-dayers on the tour so far, notching 31 runs in five innings with a highest score of 12.

But despite Haddin being clean bowled by debutant Shaminda Eranga on Tuesday for five, Clarke is less concerned about his wicketkeeper's form slump.

"He's very experienced so I'm certain he'll turn that around," Clarke said.

"He's keeping very well and, as I've said to Hadds, 'just concentrate on the keeping'.

"Generally when he keeps well, he scores runs so I'm pretty sure he'll turn it around."

Muhammad Aamir (born 13 April 1992) is a Pakistani left-arm fast bowler, hailing from Gujar Khan, Punjab. He is a highly thought of young prospect, making his international debut at the age of just 17 at 2009 World T20 and played in every match in the process of helping Pakistan win the World Cup. Aamir was youngest player to be competing in the tournament.His debut was against England. He is mainly noted for his whippy action which generates notably quick pace and swing. Aamir was first picked out as a pace prospect by the renowned Pakistani fast bowler Wasim Akram at a pace camp back in 2007. Aamir, then 15 years old, went on a tour of England with thePakistan U19 side and was one of the leading bowlers, taking regular wickets at a low average. Aamir then played in a tri-nation tournament featuring Sri Lanka and England, he again excelled with his pace and swing bowling. Due to injury he played only a limited part in the U19 World Cup in Malaysia in 2008. In March 2008 he made his domestic debut for the Rawalpindi Rams whilst also representing theNational Bank of Pakistan.
